The process is being researched and co-designed in transdisciplinary cooperation with software development and design. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/jgu-base-section>\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 27%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>The research focuses on the importance of interfaces in the transfer and application of different ways of learning and knowing in medium-sized production companies in order to consider the change of (industrial) work realities in a digitizing society. Research in the sociology of media and technology is at the starting point of a circular process of collaborative technology development that simultaneously introduces media theoretical and social implications into application development. An important element is the application-related preparation of social science concepts for partners from software development, user experience design, production and assembly.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In close cooperation, the design, transfer and use of (experiential) knowledge, as well as the context of use of the subsequent digital application and the requirements of its potential users are initially examined. A special feature of interdisciplinary media technology research is the joint selection and application of methods in exchange with practitioners. After an initial exploratory phase, certain cases are subjected to in-depth sociological analysis. At the same time, the joint conception and participation in participation formats with users takes place. Here, various implications are identified, introduced and discussed. The results are incorporated into a social science analysis with regard to media theory and labor science aspects.
