You can get to the research unit at Kisselberg from Mainz main station with bus lines 54, 55, 56, 58 and streetcar lines 51, 53, 59. All lines stop at the “Kisselberg” station. From there, turn right over the bridge and exit to the right. Follow the path until you find a staircase on the left that leads you to the student residence. Walk past it on the right until you see the courtyard of Isaac-Fulda-Alle 2b. You will recognize it by the “JGU” sign on the entrance door.
The Institute of Sociology is located in the Georg Forster Building, 3rd floor, on the campus of the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. From Mainz main station, the university can be easily reached by streetcar (lines 51 and 53). If you are traveling by car, please note that driving on campus on weekdays is only possible with a permit.
